1881 Census: He was 27 yrs old, a Cotton Manufacurer, living with his wife Nanny, son Harold, daughter Agnes and grandmother Agnes Bradshaw, at 19 Carr Road, Gt. & Little Marsden.

1898: On his marriage certificate he was 26 years old and a Weaver.

1901 Census: Was 29 years old, a Cotton Weaver, living with his wife Emma and children Florrie and Walter in Briercliffe.

Lived at 22 Cross Street, Briercliffe, Burnley.


Emma Halstead

1898: On her marriage certificate she was 23 years old and a Weaver.

1881 Census: Was 6 yrs. old, born in Burnley, living with her parents Robert and Martha and siblings, Ada, Bertha and Arthur in 32 Cotton St., Habergham Eaves.

1901 Census: Was 26 years old, living with her husband Fred and children Florrie and Walter in Briercliffe.

Lived at 22 Cross Street, Briercliffe, Burnley.

In 1929, split up from Frederick and moved to 1 Church St, Harle Syke, Nr,. Burnley.


Walter Duerden

1901 Census: Was less than 1 month old, living with his parents, Fred and Emma and sister Florrie in Briercliffe.

Died in a Mill lift shaft accident.


Maud ? Duerden

Could have been born out of wedlock and was brought up as Williams sister.


Robert Duerden

Was a Football Referee.
Believed to live in the Lancaster Scale Hall area.


Barry Duerden

Fell off a Scottish mountain and died.


Halstead Duerden

Lived in Burnley.
