On then 1881 census they have a shop on 5 Primet |Bridge and have 5children.
They later moved to Nelson on Leeds Rd. A double fronted shop which isnow (2003) a chemist shop.
Nothing at all is known about my gt gt grandmother Maria except that herson was Joseph.
She appears not to have been married and she had not had any education.
Life must have been so hard for her.
